During our research with retailers in the Prins Henderikstraat, The Hague, it was concluded that local retailers in The Hague were having a hard time keeping up with the changing trend and consumer behavior which forced them to quickly adapt their business model in order to survive against the giant companies. Additionally, the lack of resources, skills, and labor many of the retailers were struggling to have the time to learn and improve themselves with necessary skills and knowledge along with the business model. Through this project, we are aiming to provide a way for the retailers to be able to expand their networks, learn new skills, and connect the local retailers in The Hague so they could be able to survive together in the market.

Prototypes

The first prototype has a clean design and it’s more exploratory. The main difference between the two prototypes is that the first prototype has a special feed to facilitate the asking & answering questions feature so that the retailers could try to find the answers they're looking for first on the timeline before asking them themselves. While in the second prototype, the asking & answering feature was made more personal (one-on-one interaction) with the addition of gaining points after answering a question.

Try our prototypes to experience firsthand each function that we presented for the local retailers in The Hague and tell us about your experience!
